I started my career writing code and debugging production systems at 2 AM. Over 18 years, I moved from individual contributor to VP, leading engineering teams across startups, fintech platforms, and enterprise environments.
I have built and scaled systems processing hundreds of millions in payments, passed PCI DSS, SOC2, and ISO 27001 audits multiple times, and led architectural transitions from monoliths to distributed systems.
What I have learned is simple: small technical decisions compound. Architecture shapes execution. And weak judgement becomes expensive at scale.
